Making an Appointment

If you would like to see one of our dermatologists at Northern Sydney Dermatology for a skin condition please ring (02) 9958 1555 to make an appointment.

• A referral is required from your general practitioner so that you can obtain a Medicare rebate for the consultation. This referral also ensures that your dermatologist can communicate with your primary care doctor about your problem.

For cosmetic consultations a referral is not required as these consultations do not attract a Medicare rebate.

• If you are uncertain whether your problem is cosmetic or not, please ring and ask our helpful staff on:

The object of the initial consultation is to diagnose your skin condition. Sometimes additional tests will be required and often a follow up appointment is necessary. Your dermatologist at Northern Sydney Dermatology will take the time to explain your problem in easy to understand terms and will usually give you information to read as it is sometimes difficult to remember all that is discussed during the consultation.
