Lip Augmentation

Unnatural lip augmentation looks unattractive. A fuller natural looking lip gives definition to a face and makes it appear fresher and rejuvenated.

Hyaluronic acid is a a natural substance found in humans and a very popular temporary lip filler. As we age our own supply of hyluronic acid is depleted. Synthetic hyluronic acid has been used safely for many years in various medical fields. Brand names include: Hylaform® (includes Hylaform Fine Line & Hylaform Plus – Hylan B), Restylane® (non-animal stabilised hyaluronic acid), Perlane®, Juvederm®, and Esthélis®. No skin testing is required prior to injection of hyaluonic acid.

A referral is not always required for cosmetic consultations as these do not attract a medicare rebate unless you have a medical problem.

If you are uncertain if you need a referral contact our helpful staff on (02) 9958 1555.
Dr Dawes-Higgs and Wines request that you bring all of the cosmetic products you are using or have tried previously along to the consultation.
