What is a Dermal Therapist?

A Dermal Therapist is someone who has undertaken further study in skin care and is recognised as a specialist in dermal therapy procedures. These include laser therapy, IPL, microdermabrasion, skin needling and superficial chemical peels. A dermal therapist is not a beauty therapist.

Our Dermal Therapist at Northern Sydney Dermatology

Crystelle is our Dermal Therapist. She has worked in the medical field now for 5 years and the cosmetic field for 10 years gaining her Certificate in Make-up Artistry along with a wealth of knowledge in cosmetic procedures. Crystelle's passion lies within skin care and cosmetic treatments.

Crystelle has completed her Certificate in Dermal Therapies and has obtained a Certificate in Laser Safety after studying The Advance Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science and has gained qualifications in:

• Laser/ IPL (hair reduction laser/ skin rejuvenation)
• Superficial Chemical Peels
• Microdermabrasion
• Advanced Skin Needling
