Dr Nita Agar graduated from The University of Sydney in Medicine with Honours. She was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy for her work on the genetics of skin cancer in the Department of Dermatology, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in 2004.

On completion of her Dermatology Specialist training, Dr Nita Agar was awarded a Scholarship from the Australasian College of Dermatologists to undertake a clinical fellowship in Skin Tumours at the St John's Institute of Dermatology, Guys & St Thomas' Hospital, London. She has a special interest in skin tumours and general dermatology.

Throughout her career Dr Agar has published many articles in leading journals. She has also been involved in teaching both medical students and dermatology registrars.

Dr Agar offers a broad range of general medical and surgical dermatological services including skin cancer checks and skin cancer management.
